Summary

HWProbe does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All hardware tests run entirely in your browser. No data leaves your device.

What We Don't Collect

• No personal information (name, email, IP address)
• No hardware data (test results, device identifiers)
• No usage analytics or behavioral tracking
• No cookies or local storage for tracking purposes

How the Tests Work

Each test uses standard browser APIs (Gamepad API, Web Audio API, MediaDevices API, Canvas API) to read your hardware state. All processing happens in JavaScript running on your device. No network requests are made during testing.

Third-Party Services

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect standard web server logs (IP address, user agent, request URL) as part of their hosting infrastructure. HWProbe does not access or use these logs. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.

Cloudflare Web Analytics may be loaded by the hosting platform. This is a privacy-first analytics service that does not use cookies or track individual users. See Cloudflare Web Analytics for details.

Open Source Verification

HWProbe is fully open source. You can verify all privacy claims by inspecting the source code, checking network requests in your browser's developer tools, or auditing the deployed JavaScript bundles.
